Eric J. Becker serves as Head of Legal at Andelyn Biosciences, where he oversees the company’s legal, compliance, and corporate governance functions. In this role, he serves as a strategic advisor to the executive leadership team on domestic and international operational matters, proactive risk management, and commercial strategy to advance Andelyn’s mission as a pioneering gene therapy CDMO. Having joined Andelyn in June 2021 as Associate General Counsel before stepping into his current leadership post, Eric has contributed to the construction of Andelyn’s legal infrastructure that helped the company transition from an ambitious clinical-stage startup into a full-scale commercial manufacturing partner. Prior to joining Andelyn, Eric built deep litigation, regulatory, and corporate counseling experience at premier law firms, including many years at an AM LAW 50 firm where he focused on government investigations, white-collar regulatory compliance, and complex commercial disputes. He earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where he competed on the Moot Court Team and served as Submissions Editor for the Journal of Law and Health. Eric graduated magna cum laude from Muskingum College. Eric is licensed to practice law in Ohio and the District of Columbia and remains an active contributor to the local legal community, including serving as a Chapter Leader with the Central Ohio Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel.
